Laundry pickup-and-delivery service HappyNest has expanded its operations into Florida’s Palm Beach and northern Broward Counties.
“LaundryMe! offers outstanding service at competitive prices, which complements our model perfectly,” explained HappyNest founder John MacKrell. “With the addition of the Jupiter, West Palm and Boca Raton areas, we are nearing completion of our expansion along the east coast of Florida. Owner Stacey Runfola and her team will be a great asset to our other great Florida partners.”
Runfola, who owns three laundromats in the Lake Worth and Delray Beach area, has become a force in the industry in a very short period of time. She previously operated a regional retail chain in western New York for several years, before relocating to south Florida and discovering the laundry industry as her next business opportunity.
Runfola purchased her first two laundries in April 2018, followed by a third location in early 2019. Although looking to scale her pickup-and-delivery business by aligning with HappyNest, Stacey also is involved with her local public library and homeless coalition.
“After meeting John at the last Excellence in Laundry Conference, I decided to use Springboard software to start my LaundryMe! pickup-and-delivery service,” Runfola said. “When I was offered the opportunity to join the HappyNest family and help create a national brand, I knew it was the right next step for me.”
While the branding of Runfola’s stores will remain the same, the existing pickup-and-delivery service will be rebranded as HappyNest.
