Laundry pickup-and-delivery service HappyNest has expanded into the Atlanta market.
“Our strategy has been to build out the East Coast of the U.S., and Atlanta is another perfect market for HappyNest,” said company founder John MacKrell. “We discussed the platform with laundromat owner Omer Khan when we first launched, and while he was very interested and in fact signed on with us, he happened to have other, more pressing life matters to handle. So, we gave him the necessary time to get his affairs in order, and now he is ready to crush the Atlanta south market and we are excited to help him.”
Khan has been involved in the laundry industry part-time with his father, Abdul, for most of his life. However, in recent years, he has become more involved in the day-to-day operations and sees a great opportunity with pickup and delivery.
“I had been interested in adding a delivery service at our Bustin’ Suds laundry location, but I wasn’t sure about infrastructure, day-to-day operations and the overall process needed, so I searched for the right partner – and along came the HappyNest team,” Khan explained. “I saw the software, went through a day in the life of a pickup-and-delivery owner, and realized that this could be huge around Atlanta. With the expertise of the HappyNest team and what they have proven in the industry, I feel confident in our ability to make this a huge success.”
Customers of Khan’s three laundromats can now schedule pickup-and-delivery service with HappyNest throughout the greater Atlanta metro area.
