HappyNest Welcomes New Head of Product and Security, Steve Staden

EAST GREENWICH, R.I. — November 18, 2024HappyNest, the tech-enabled laundry pickup and delivery service, is thrilled to announce that Steve Staden has joined the company as the new Head of Product and Security. Steve’s leadership, experience, and strategic vision are poised to drive HappyNest into a new era of growth and success.

Staden brings over 20 years of experience in software product management and cybersecurity to HappyNest. Prior to joining the company, he served as the Senior Director of Product Management at DNSFilter, where he led product management, program management, and UX teams. He successfully delivered capabilities that boosted annual recurring revenue (ARR) and improved customer retention rates. Staden’s ability to identify market needs, understand customer pain points, and develop innovative solutions has consistently driven business growth. His achievements at DNSFilter include the introduction of SIEM integration, the launch into the Pax8 marketplace, and the development of Malicious Domain Protection, a new machine learning detection capability. In 2022, Steve presented at the RSA Conference, speaking on Protective DNS, DNS Encryption, and Zero-Trust.

Staden has also held leadership roles at Wind River Payments and Ipswitch. As Chief Product Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Wind River Payments, he led the product management, customer relationship, and operations teams. He spearheaded the launch of Wind River’s ACH capability, completed a comprehensive refresh of the company’s PCI program, and strengthened partnerships with various payment processing partners. At Ipswitch, Steve played a pivotal role in the evolution of the MOVEit and WhatsUp Gold product lines, positioning them as core components of Ipswitch’s product portfolio before its acquisition by Progress Software.

Staden earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Finance from Northern Illinois University. He also holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in good standing.
